cool songs for kind kids (of all ages!)
hi, i'm mama nous (*ma*ma*noo) and i'm so excited to sing with you!
i share songs, tools, and magically mindful (re)parenting strategies to help you connect with children (including your inner child!) in ways that gently build emotional intelligence & resilience.
i believe kids music should be enjoyable for grownups too so my musical style is influenced by my background as an indie folk musician. i hope my songs bring more joy and playfulness into your family's life, give you language to start big conversations, and help you nurture your own inner child.
where to find my music
i've got multiple albums + singles that are streaming everywhere! you can search for "mama nous" on spotify, apple music, youtube music, or amazon. it REALLY helps me out when you add my songs to your favorites and playlists!
i've learned that alexa and other smart speakers don't know how to pronounce my name (ma*ma*noo*) so you may have to spell it out for them 🙃
shop products!
every sale from my shop directly supports my work and helps me continue to put out all of the free resources and content that i share! you can get CDs and digital downloads of all my albums, empowering emotional support stickers, motivational alarm sounds + ringtones with songs that support transitions, and printable visual aids to encourage cooperation and independence.

foster connection
these songs are meant to be tools that help you connect with kids in fun and playful ways, create a shared vocabulary around tough topics, and gently build emotional intelligence.

model emotional intelligence
my resources are just as much for grownups as for children! if you didn't grow up with emotionally mature caretakers, i hope my examples give you new ideas for how to connect with your kids (and yourself!).

have fun, be silly!
children are delightful! i hope these songs give you permission to tap into the joy & magic of childhood through songs that you actually want to listen to.

hi! i'm mama nous
i grew up singing folk songs in 4-part harmony with my 5 siblings, started music lessons when i was 6, and have picked up every instrument i could get my hands on in the years since. i wrote my first song when i was 8 and have been writing little ditties for my kids since they were born. i'm delighted to share my music with your family too!
my own mom modeled mindful parenting before there was a word for it and i'm so grateful to have been raised with respect, open communication, and emotional awareness.
mama nous is my little labor of love. i record all of my own music with the help of my super talented husband b.b. dozer in our home studio in the woods of new hampshire: i don't have an agent or manager or label and fit this into my life as i'm able between parenting + a full-time job!
